What this costs against what the exam costs
Goethe B1 exam fee in India: around ₹18,800 (our last check, 2026-08-25 — the exam centre you book with has the current figure). Coaching for one level: ₹12,000 to ₹28,000. Prüfungsmeister B1 pass: from ₹799.
Fail A1 or A2 and the whole exam fee is due again — those exams cannot be retaken in parts. Goethe B1 is modular at most centres, so a failed module can be re-sat on its own.
